So.This movie is like.. hmm soo freakin cute. For me. Than again, gw mengingatkan lagi betapa gw sukanya sama film yang................... time spannya in like one day or two-three days. Yes. Film ini emang time spannya sebagian besar cuman sehari. So I was surfing around the youtube (as usual) and came across this movie trailer........................... And decided to download this movie right the instant i finished watching the trailer

So basically, reasons for watching this movie is

1) It's cute
2) It's only like 1 and a half hour
3) It's starring Miles Teller.
... And I think no. 3 pretty much sums the whole thing up.

Jadi! Long story short, ceritaya ini intinya this girl named Megan, pegangguran and single. Her friend encouraged her to meet a guy, so she decided to join a dating website (and of course gw kinda not believe kalo they actuallly have descriptions of what kind of relationships ur looking for.. like there's even an option for "one night stand"). So one day, she has this one night stand with this guy named Alec. So the next morning, when she wants to get out the apartment wallking in shame.. turns out she can't because the entrance door was shut close caused by the sudden blizzard. So... she's stuck to spend the next 24 hours with mrnovember (Alec's profile user name).. And yup you know the rest.

Menurut gw ceritanya.. lucu gemes gitu HAHA well gw tipe orang yang kalo ntn film suka gemes2 sendiri gitu nah film ini mayan deh bikn gemes2 gitu HAHAH. Ini filmnya light banget and walaupun wikipedia mengatakan kalo film ini kebanyakan reviewnya negative I dissagree. I didn't took this movie as a waste of time, film ini cocoklah buat killing time HAHA (apa sih agak ngelantur gw ngmgnya)

Emang sih ceritanya kayak sinetron banget gitu ya kayak yang "kejebak2" gitu ya.. Kan kebanyakan kayak misalnya kejebak di lift (sering banget nih). Well kalo di film ini kejebak karena blizzard...  Di Indonesia mungkin karena banjir kali  ya? Di Indonesia (especially Jakarta) walaupun macet parah karena banjirpun orang tetep bakalan pulang. Jadi mungkin ini ga akan terjadi kali ya di Indonesia HAHA.. apa lagi disini kayaknya one night stand yang terang2an lewat internet itu sesuatu yang taboo banget.. (walaupun I heard theres this app kinda like tinder yang buat nyari hook-up hook-up gitu cause one my friend actually did one night stands with 3 different people through that app)

Anywhoo.. I had a pretty good laugh and pretty good time of daydreaming whilst watching ths movie. Kalau kalian pernah ntn any of the movie from Before Trilogy, (film juga sehari tapi ini bener2 dari awal ampe habis emang cuman sehari) mereka juga talk and talk and talk througout the movie, but some of the topics yang mereka omongin cukup berat aja like for instance feminist. Kalau di film ini lebih hmm.. kayak go with the flow. I like this Megan character, I meant I like her story, and I like how she progressed on telling the story of her life little by little to Alec :""

Don't trust the trailer of this  movie, seriously this trailer doesn't do justice to the movie. Dari trailernya kesannya sih kayak cheesy banget sih cuman trust me, it's actually more cuter and romantic not at all cheesy. Mungkn emang itu tujuan trailernya haha, not to give out the real story of the movie. Turned out it's more romantic than I thought (some parts)

*Okay so I read along a couple of comments about this movie from youtube.
And here;s what I have to say to them.. So some people said that "Miles Teller" always played that very same guy, that sort-of-an-asshole-whos-so-full-of-him-self guy. Well I pretty sure he was one in The Spectacular Now, and he's kinda an asshole too in Divergent, That Awkward Moment, and well this. Kinda reminds me of Dave Franco because I personally think Dave Franco doesn't have a distinctive characteristic that people could recognized him with. But, I think Miles Teller did a lot better. He recently starred in the Academy Award Nominated movie "Whiplash" and I read along the internet that it was a pretty awesome movie and the character that Miles played was soo different than the previous ones, so I'm very lookin forward to it. (SO what's the whole point?) Ya ngga ada sih sebenenrya, gw cuman mau komntar aja HAHA. 

Some people didn't like this movie because it made female looks a bit weak and degraded. (Since in the movie ir was Megan's who come up with the idea of "hanging out in mrnovember's" place anyway..... Well i thought don't take it too seriously! Jeez people come on, anything could happen. And I thought this movie is pretty believable too. (And yes, the part where it's the girl's idea to hang out at the guy;s place is too, believable) Maybe minus the stuck in the apartment part. I mean come on isn' there the backdoor? Well eventhough the backdoor is too covered with blizzard, at least show it. HAHA. Or the neighbour part, seriously did Alex only know one of his neighbours? Didn't he have other neighbours in the building?

So, apparently I haven't got the chance to update this blog over the past few weeks. Well truth is I didn't quite have the time to watch new movies and all. (walaupun sebenernya beberapa review disii adalah2 film lama favorit gw yang gw udah afal di luar kepala banget) So here I am reviewing "Love, Rosie"

SSo.. this movie is actually based on Cecelia Ahern's "Where The Rainbow Ends" ( who BTW also wrote PS I Love You), but this movie is titled "Love, Rosie". Menurut gw, film ini.. well lucu sih jalan cerita, and they have a great cast, and of course a movie with the people in it speaking with a british accent is always entertaining for everyone. So the whole idea of the story sih senenernya cliche banget.

 Ada satu cowok (Alex) dan satu cewek (Rosie). Sahabatan dari kecil. Never really realize that they;re in love with each other. And of course there;s always have to be some kind of big event (or more like big disaster) yang baru bisa menyadarkan kalo they like each other. Can they really like make it happen at all?

Okay. Gw sejujurnya GEMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES banget sama alur cerita ini. Not gemes in a kind of "Awwwwh way" gemes as in kayak "What the fuck when will they ever be together" karena kayak they just like keeps on missing each other. Harus banget ya sampe harus masing2 nikah sama orang lain dulu baru bisa like, together?Like come on seriosly, they could do better than that.

I think this is the type of movie, or story, where semua masalah tuh semua bisa diselesaikan if only kalo they would spare like an hour.. or no no 10 minutes would also be perfectly fine, to themselves where they could just talk to each other, pour each other feeling. And then voila! They don;t need to go through 2 failed marriages and they wouldn;t need to spend years apart while always wondering thaat "What if" question. Seriously. Kalo dari awal mereka udah talk it out, well than this movie wouldn't even need to happen at the first place. Ya tapi namanya juga film, dan emang ADA sih tipe persahabatan yang kayak gitu. Like Alex would say (and I quote) "Sometimes a boy girl relationship ccould be quite complicated sometimes".  And emang pasti ada sih dua orang sahabatan lawan jenis yang pasti buat ngmg SUKA aja kayaknya susha banget ya.Cuman like seriously? Does it really have to take 2 failed marriages to finally unite Alex and Rosie together? Which btw, 12 years later?

BUt.. guess what? Tenryata kalo di novel aslinya the whole story took place for 30 years. GILAAAAAA seriously adakah setelah 30 thn gitu masih mau?

For the acting part, well since the first time gw ngliat Sam Claffin acting itu di Hunger Games as Finnick Odair, yang film action berantem gitu.. jadi sedikit aneh gitu ya ngliat dia acting all lovey and romantic-ly di film ini, but it was believable. And for Lily Collins, I like her, And that;s pretty much it. Gw suka acting dia, especially the sad parts. Oh! And I also like the chemistry between them too :D

Kalo buat cewek2 yang suka nonton romantic comedy dan sukanya ntn film sendirian, this movie is a good choice. Gw sih sebenernya ada temen ntn cuman gw kalo ntn film gini2 lebih prefer sendirian karena gw bisa lebih fokus dan gw bisa ber-reaksi secara bebas terhadap scene2 yang ada di filmnya. For instance, gw bisa melontarkan kata2 "AH GEMEESSSSSSSS", "Aduh f bgt nih f", "Seriously??" without having judgy eyes towards me. TEEHEE.

Film ini sebenerya udh release a few months ago di Amerika cuman gw karena udah keburu gemes dan ngliat temen2 gw pada update ntn di Path dan gw kepooooooo jadi gw streaming deh. Untung udah bagus juga gambarnya. OH! And one other gretat thing about the movie, is the soundtrack, and OF COURSE THE SCENERRRRRRRRRRRY. AAAAAAh bagus banget.

Okay, than that;s about it. SOrry if it's all messed up all, since I'm doing this just for the fun of it. I like writing, I even considered myself as a self-proclaimed writer, (even though I have lost my mojo throughout the years) i'm trying really hard to slowly reclaim it back  HOHOHO
