HA! Sorry for being too bias about the British stuff but I just can't help it because people who speaks british just got 10x hotter. Ini film baru rilis baru tahun 2008 (AND GW MENYESAL SKALI BARU MENGETAHUI THE EXISTENCE OF THIS MOVIE LIKE A YEAR AGO?) So this movies is based on a book. Which is Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging and It's OK, I'm Wearing Really Big Knickers.. (ternyata gw baru tau juga buku ini adalah bagian dari seri "Confessions of Georgia Nicholson".) Gw inget banget the first time I laid eyes on this movie itu waktu itu lagi malem2 flicking through the channels and I came across "ANGUS, THONGS, AND PERFECT SNOGGING" di titlenya. AND I WAS LIKE WHUT? Kenapakah gw bereaksi begitu? Because I remember it very well kalo pas SD gw pernah baca buku dengan judul yang samaa.

Owkay, so back to the movie. Honestly, gw lupa ceritanya kayak gimana, the one thing I remember about the book is that there's this part where Georgia itu jatoh sampe roknya tersibak dan gebetannya ngeliat celana dalamnya HAHAHA (which btw THIS PART ADA LOH DI MOVIE)

Okay. So this movie tells the story about "Georgia Nicholson". 14 year old girl from England. Dia tinggal bersama bapak ibuknya, adeknya Libby, dan kuncingnya Angus (baca ; E-nges bukan A-ngus). Dia punya 3 sahabat sekolah nya dan cerita film ini kurang lebih adalah tentang upaya Georgia ngedektin si Robbie! Cowok pindahan dari London yang super hot and yummy (if i might add). Film kayak gini ini tapi lebih sering dikategorikan sebagai "coming-of-age", translation kurang lebih menggambarkan proses transisi main charachter secara moralnya. Ato.. if you want to be more pricise.. this right here is the explanation from wikipedia what "coming-of-age" movie actually means : "Coming-of-age films focus on the psychological and moral growth or transition of a protagonist from youth to adulthood."
Okay. Kembali lagi. Kenapa gw suka sama film ini? Ceritanya lucu, dan emang ABG banget. Secara bukunya juga terbitan teenlit kalo yang di Indonesia. Tapi toh ini ABG "luar" banget sih bukan Indonesia, disini kan 14 tahun masih SMP udah cium2an kayaknya bikin ngelus dada banget kan (walaupun kayaknya I'm pretty sure regardin dengan gaya pacaran anak jaman sekarang pasti udah pada ciuman, jangan kan SMP, I'm pretty sure SD juga udah)
Nontonnya bikin malu2. And I needed that for once in a while. I needed a light movie like this, once that actually make you feel good about yourself. Yang bikin lo ngingetin sama masa-masa skolah, masa-masa seru sama temen-temen and ngegebet cowok bareng2 hihi (not that i'm complaining of my life right now)
THIS PART IS MY FAVORITE PART THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE.
